Moonstruck 03:00
The man in the moon had a mistress tonight, she was sailing away in a blaze of light with her tail out behind her and her face to the sky I wonder if anyone noticed The comet flew over a field full of clover and every last one of them wished they could know her they stretched to the heavens as far as they could and a forest there was born and the planets all danced in their old masquerade And the constellations held a sparkling parade As the man in the moon prayed that she'd come back soon and the universe turned all the same and the universe turned all the same The man in the moon knows that love is no dream it's a nightmare that you'll never want to leave as he watched his love floating away with the breeze he turned his face away now he circles the globe as he searches for her with his face to the sky and his back to the earth he wishes on every last star he can find that she'll return someday and the planets all dance in their old masquerade And the constellations hold a sparkling parade As the man in the moon prays that she'll come back soon and the universe turns all the same and the universe turns all the same She visited every last star in the sky even winked at old jupiter as she flew by Saturn offered a ring, and she started to think of a poor lonely moon left behind... The man in the moon had a wedding tonight The stars all attended, the sun gave the light And thought she may wander, she'll wander in white and the universe knows that she's his and the planets all danced in their old masquerade and the constellations threw a sparkling parade as the moon and his bride down they aisle did they glide and the universe turns all the same and the universe turns all the same...

Slow Down 03:06
It's easy to get lost in the glow When the sun is high and the days are slow And you've got nothing left to lose but time And time is on your side Lazy summer afternoons Full of popsicles and pink balloons Waking up to see the sunrise from the other side... Oh, isn't it real, real nice Just to relax for a little while Nothing like the sun to make you smile Oh, taking a break from life Take off your shoes for a little while and take time to Slow Down Sitting still in the setting sun and then counting stars when the day is done playing hide and seek in the shadows ain't it good to be alive Singing with your old guitar Whispering soft goodnights underneath the stars Staying up to see the sunset From the other side Oh, isn't it real, real nice Just to relax for a little while Nothing like the sun to make you smile Oh, taking a break from life Take off your shoes for a little while and take time to Slow Down Life always tries to get in the way of those lazy, crazy summer days Where it's easy come, easy go and you squish the mud between your toes Life always tries to bring you down but you find it kind of hard to frown under the warm rays of those sunny days when you just can't help but saying... Oh, isn't it real, real nice Just to relax for a little while Nothing like the sun to make you smile Oh, taking a break from life Take off your shoes for a little while and take time to Slow Down It's easy to get lost in the glow When the sun is high and the days are slow And you've got nothing left to lose but time and time is on your side...

Anchor 05:14
I woke up this morning With a sad song in my head I was waiting there for you, waiting there for you, but you never came... I came out this morning, With a sad song in my hands I was singing it for them, Playing it for them but they never knew my name... And sometimes we don't understand Why we feel like an anchor that's dropped on dry land, but This is a song for the broken... This is a song for the broken... And sometimes we don't have a clue Why some things are left up to just me and you, but This is a song for the broken... This is a song for the broken... I saw you today With a sad song on your lips... You were singing for no one, singing for no one So, you thought that no one heard... But I heard you today, With that sad song on your heart... You were wishing for someone, praying for someone, but they didn't hear a word... And sometimes you don't understand Why you feel like an anchor that's dropped on dry land, but This is a song for the broken, This is a song for the broken... And sometimes we don't have a clue Why some things are left up to just me and you, but This is a song for the broken... This is a song for the broken... A man in a crowd... With nowhere left to turn... Crying for someone, Begging for someone, But no one ever hears... Surrounded by faces... In an empty room... Voices from the past, Another voice behind the glass of everything he fears... And he wonders... Is he the only one who doesn't understand why he feels like an Anchor that's dropped on dry land but this is a song for the broken... This is a song for the broken... Is he the only one who doesn't have a clue why some things are left up to just me and you, but This is a song for the broken... This is a song for the broken... This is a song for the broken... Broken hearts can heal themselves, But sometimes they need a little help, So play them this song, and they might sing along, And make sure you listen when they say... That sometimes they don't understand, Why they feel like an anchor that's dropped on dry land, but This is a song for the broken... This is a song for the broken... And sometimes they don't have a clue Why some things are left up to just me and you, but This is a song for the broken... This is a song for the broken... This is a song for the broken... Hearts... Broken hearts... This is a song for the broken...

Little Girl Blue With her hair in a bow And an angel asleep on her shoulder Humming a tune That nobody else knows and waiting for someone to hold her then you come riding in with your armor of tin and a smile that could light up the skies A king on a steed come to fill every need for a princess who's never been good at goodbyes Little girl smiles and holds onto your hand and you promise that you'll always stay She's not yours to own but she's yours all the same and you love her a bit more each day And she crawls in your lap as you're taking a nap and she kisses you soft while you sleep then she snuggles in tight in the afternoon light and prays that this love is a love she can keep Little Girl Blue With her hair in a bow and an angel asleep on her shoulder How much she loves you You never may know but you care for her always and hold her close...

Do you remember way back in those years When the summer was high and we had nothing to fear Magic and Miracles were one and the same There were stallions to run with and lions to tame Nothing could break us or turn us around It was a long way to heaven, and a longer way down Too much of something was nothing at all and we were trying to fly, no matter how much we fall Back when mothers were mothers and daughters and wives We'll remember those days for the rest of our lives But too many kisses were lost in the night Until daughters became mothers whose mothers were right But nothing could break them or turn them around It was a long way to heaven, but it's longer back down Too much of something was nothing at all and they were trying to fly, but they only could fall Until one little girl with her head in her hands Asking nothing but truth, and changing all of your plans A second chance child with your face and your name She'll be making believers out of sinners and saints Singing nothing will break us or turn us around It's a long way to heaven, but it's longer back down Too much of something is nothing at all And you can't learn to fly if you're too scared to fall Years will go by and she'll remember her youth With a mother who loved her and taught her the truth That magic and miracles are one and the same And a mother shares more than a face and a name Angels will guide her and sing her a song Of a mother who loved her and did her no wrong Holding the future in the warmth of a womb A memory not made yet, but she's coming soon And nothing will break her or turn her around She will fly up to heaven and never come down A lifetime of pleasure and passion and pain She will wash it away in the warm summer rain Too much of something is just something more And she'll fly on your wings and together you'll soar.

Lullaby in the living room and mama says he'll be home soon the shadows on the front porch steps say it's almost quittin' time A mystic kind of melody that wanders far as I can see it spins around the heavens as the tears fall on the road And there's something right in front of me from some long ago eternity for where the tears have fallen there is Love on the Ground River deeper than the sea Your love is washing over me and it feels so right... it feels so right, to be free... Now it's almost sleepy time so take a breath and dry your eyes curl up with your teddy, baby's had a long day Say a prayer for everyone and thank God for the day that's done tomorrow is a new one and it's gonna be okay... And there's something right in front of me from some long ago eternity for where the tears have fallen there is Love on the Ground River deeper than the sea Your love is washing over me and it feels so right... it feels so right, to be free... Pages whisper through my dreams of music notes and melodies waiting for the morning to arrive as you whistle through my memories of how your love is holding me and then the dawn comes and we say goodbye... Waking up to sunny skies so wipe the sleep out of your eyes the rain has stopped and where it's dropped there's puddles on the road... And there's something right in front of me from some long ago eternity for where the rain has fallen there is Love on the Ground River deeper than the sea Your love is washing over me and it feels so right... and it fees so right... yeah, it feels so right... to be free...

I love my dog He is my very best friend He'll be my favorite right to the end Oh, yeah I love my dog They say that diamonds are a girl's best pal But you can keep your gems I don't want 'em anyhow Oh, baby I love my dog He snuggles with me every night when mom and dad turn off lights He barks at all the bunnies that run past our door He wakes me up when I'm asleep then licks my face and snuggles deep beneath the sheets I'll never meet Another friend that's quite so sweet... I love my dog, he is my very best mate We'll be together til we're 28, Oh, yeah, I love my dog Oh, yeah, uh huh I love my dog [whistle] He cuddles me when I'm alone he chews on shoes instead of bones He gets into the garbage when nobody's around But then he looks at me again and tells me I'm his favorite friend and I just can't resist those puppy eyes... So let me tell you that I love my dog Whatever trouble he's in We'll be together through the thick and thin Oh yeah, uh huh I love my dog Mm hmm Oh yeah, uh huh I love my dog!
